This proposed configuration connects major activity centers such as the Charleston International Airport, the North Charleston Convention Center/Coliseum, the proposed Regional Intermodal Center (Amtrak and intercity bus), hotels, office parks, and eventually the historic district in Downtown Charleston and residential areas to the north.
