Byron E. Waldman President & CEO
Byron Waldman provides FUTREX with the benefit of 35 years of experience in the transportation industry, building his expertise in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector, he has held senior staff positions in the U.S. Department of Transportation and with the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, and he served for seven years as a member of the Commonwealth Transportation Board of Virginia where he chaired the Budget and Finance Committee. Byron has been Assistant Vice President of a railroad holding company, and consulted to transportation companies on business development and finance.

James M. Tuten Vice President --Engineering
With over 31 years of diverse engineering experience in rail and transportation systems, Jim Tuten provides technical leadership for the development of System 21. As a Principal Research Engineer at Battelle Memorial Institute, he earned a reputation as a capable investigator of complex, multidisciplinary problems, and evaluator of technology. He has performed investigations into engineering, structural and safety issues on many of the transit properties in North America and Asia. At Battelle, he was involved in the preliminary engineering studies of System 21 and he served as the lead engineer for the successful quarter-scale model project. Jim holds several patents and is a member of prominent transportation engineering and technical committees.
